5 More Chapters of Acts

(before they're archived)

"When disciples followed a rabbi, they followed him closely so they would never be out of his sight, never be someplace where they couldn’t hear him speak. They followed him so closely that his sandals often kicked up dust."

May you be covered in His dust.

If you’re new here, WELCOME.

Covered in His Dust is now reaching 23 countries and 23 U.S. states. Hit reply and tell me where you’re reading from—I’d love to know.

Every week I spend 10–15 hours with one chapter of the Bible. I tear it apart, word by word. And then I put it back together so it’s clear, raw, and alive.

But today, I need to press pause.

Late in 2023, the Bible came alive to me in a way it never had before. I couldn’t stop talking about it. Night after night, I shared with my wife what I was seeing—things I’d missed my whole life.

On January 1, 2024, Covered in His Dust was born.

Since then, we’ve walked through every chapter of Luke and Acts. A year and a half. Verse by verse.

And it’s changed me.

What started as simple devotionals has grown into something I never planned on—a commentary that just kept growing and wouldn’t stop.

A commentary for ordinary people—like us.

That’s why I’m taking a short break. I’m going back to Luke. Reworking it. Raising it to the standard I know God’s called me to. When it’s ready, you’ll get it in a digital book you can keep and share.

To those hungry for His Word,

Don’t miss Acts before it’s archived.

The first ten chapters are already pulled together in one place (right HERE). Today I’m adding five more.

It’s a lot.
But it’s rich.

Acts Chapters 11-15

Chapter 11: Paul's conversion wasn't immediate.

Chapter 12: Villains of the New Testament

Chapter 12 (part 2): God vs. Herod

Chapter 13: I'm constantly refocusing my heart.

Chapter 13 (part2): Are you hungry for the Lord?

Chapter 13 (part 3): I've felt doubt before.

Chapter 13 (part 4): The Apostle Paul's first recorded sermon.

Chapter 13 (part 5): Am I starving for God's Word?

Chapter 14: Make it make sense!

Chapter 15: What the Curtain Tearing Really Meant

Chapter 15 (part 2): Do you believe in only Jesus?

Chapter 15 (part 3): I didn’t want Chapter 15 to end.

Here’s the good news: what you’ve read in Acts is the same depth you’ll get in Romans. No sugar-coating. No soft gospel.

If that’s not what you’re looking for, unsubscribing is easy. But if this is your jam—be patient. It’ll be worth it.

I love you,

George
