Christmas didn't begin where you think it did.

Not even close.

Good morning ☀️

I’m taking the next two weeks off from writing.

Not disappearing.
Just resting.

Christmas is five days away, and I want space to be present with my family and with God.

But I didn’t want to leave you with nothing.

So instead of sending new notes, I opened something up.

If you’ve ever read my notes and thought, “Someone I love should be reading this,” this is the moment to act on that thought.

Here’s what you can unlock just by inviting others to read along.

The Christmas Story Didn’t Begin in Bethlehem (Audio)

This is for people who feel deep in their bones that the Christmas story isn’t as cozy and comfortable as we’ve made it.

This doesn’t pull back one layer.
It pulls back ten.

Christmas didn’t start with a baby in a manger.
That’s where we enter the story.
Not where God began it.

Way before Mary said yes, God was making promises that would threaten kings, expose power, and redraw the world.

Listen to this when you’re done with the Silent Night version of Jesus.

Once you hear it this way, you see how long God has been coming for us.

The Christmas Stories We Miss

I want you to have these four stories so bad.
You have no idea.

Invite two friends to join you as we go through Romans so I can send them to you.
Trust me.

You think you know the Christmas story.
Mary. Joseph. Angels. A manger.

That’s the version we know so well.
We’ve become numb to it.

You almost never hear the stories that make the birth of Jesus feel disruptive, political and dangerous.

You don’t just meet Mary and Joseph.
You see the cost of obedience.
The fear.

And then there’s Rome.
Power. Control. Violence.
An empire tightening its grip.

And Herod.
A ruler whose fear turns murderous when he hears about a rival king.

These stories don’t soften Christmas.
They sharpen it.

They show you why Jesus didn’t arrive quietly into a peaceful world.
He arrived into tension and blood-soaked power.

Once you read these four stories together, the manger doesn’t feel sentimental anymore.
It feels like a quiet rebellion.

If Christmas has ever felt smaller than it should, this will tell you why.

(3) By referring three friends, you can unlock:

The Christmas Stories We Miss — Read Aloud by me ♥️

The same four stories, but read to you. Slow. Unhurried.

Something you can listen to when you don’t want to read another thing, but still want to sit with the story.

THIS YEAR STARTS WITH GOD: A 30-day reset for your walk with God.

DO NOT SKIP PAST THIS.
Please.

This isn’t a plan to fix your life.
It’s not a challenge to prove anything.

This is thirty days of learning to walk with God.
One verse a day.
One honest moment.
One small step of obedience.

If you want something to change this year, this is where you start. Not by doing more. But by walking with God again, slowly and faithfully.

I really want you to have this.

(You only need to invite four friends.)

One more:
(5) By referring five friends, you can unlock:

A 30-minute conversation with me about your plans for 2026

One on one.
Not automated.
Not a webinar

Just a real conversation with me about where you are and what’s next.
Zoom or WhatsApp.
We’ll schedule it personally.

Here’s why I’ve set this referral program up.

Most people want to read the Bible.
They just don’t know where to start.
Or they don’t want to do it alone.

So if someone came to mind while you were reading Romans or Acts, that wasn’t random.
That’s how the Holy Spirit works.

Invite them.
Walk through Romans together.
And get something meaningful along the way.

You can see your referral link and the rewards waiting for you below.

I’m excited to see who you bring with you!
I’m inviting the people who come to mind too.
It will sweeten the journey through Romans.

You don’t have to manage anything.

Just use the Share button or copy your link below.

As soon as your friends subscribe, I’ll take care of the rest.

Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Thank you for walking with me this year.

I love you,

George
