On our way to Cuba

Romans is coming

"When disciples followed a rabbi, they followed him closely so they would never be out of his sight, never be someplace where they couldn’t hear him speak. They followed him so closely that his sandals often kicked up dust."

May you be covered in His dust.

Good morning Saints! ☀️

If this is your first time receiving Covered in His Dust, WELCOME. I’d love to hear where you’re reading from. Just reply and let me know.

I’m sitting at an airport in Miami on my way to Cuba for a pastoral retreat. The Lord is moving there and we’re blessed to be a part of it.

Today is special because I get to travel with my beautiful wife. I hate traveling alone. (Thank you mom and dad for making this possible!)

If you’ve been here since the beginning, we’ve gone through the Gospel of Luke and the book of Acts. I’m taking a short break as I re-write my notes on Luke.

I
can’t
wait
to
share
them
with
you!

We’ll begin diving deep into Romans on October 4th. Mark you calendar.

I am so grateful for your notes of encouragement.

“You’ve made a huge difference in how I learn and understand the Bible. I love how you connect the New Testament with the Old. It finally makes sense to me. I’ve never been able to comprehend this before. Thank you for your time, energy, and dedication to this and to us.” — Natalie

"As one of the 3,000 plus people you send your weekly study to, I will tell you that your email is the most important email I get in my inbox. Thank you so much!" — Luke

“Your devotionals are doing something powerful in my life. I’ve been reading through the archive almost every day, and this week, it feels like God is speaking directly to me through them. Since I started, He’s given me a deep love for His Word. I could spend all day in it. Thank you, George.” — Isabell

"I’m so thankful for these notes. I’ve been a Christian my whole life, which is a gift, but sometimes it feels like I’m just going through the motions. It’s been hard to see the Bible with fresh eyes. Your notes are changing that for me. Thank you.” — Chelsea

“I’m enjoying the Covered in His Dust. I often miss the subtle but important points in Scripture, and you have a gift for bringing them out. Makes it much more interesting. There should be more of that preached in our churches today.” — Phillip

I don't write for scholars.
I write for the man flipping through his Bible on a lunch break.
I write for the ones who whisper “God, help me understand.”
The ones hungry for truth.

I write these notes… for you.

I love you,

George
